The prototype: when dreams (finally) become reality

Our designers know each material utilised in our collections and their specific properties perfectly and this enables them to create innovative designs that can actually be manufactured (and worn). That's why it is necessary to first create a prototype. In the case of acetate, the craftsman starts with the most suitable sheet of acetate based on the design that was sketched initially, then carries on with the manual steps of cutting, milling and polishing, and finishes off with quality control checks on the frame. The combination of both the craftsman and the designer's skills guarantee exceptional results.
